Congrats and "Welcome" to actor Maulik Pancholy, best known for the sitcom 30 Rock, who has officially come out of the closet.
The actor, best known for playing Alec Baldwin’s over-the-top stressed-out assistant Jonathan on the beloved NBC sitcom, just celebrated nine years together with his longtime partner.
“It feels like a nice time to be celebrating something like that, especially on the heels of the DOMA and Prop 8 decisions,” Pancholy tells OUT magazine as a member of this year’s OUT 100 list.
Famous or not, with a public career or not, coming out is always scary and daunting… Liz Lemon would be so proud!
